I discovered a Common Shrew under some wooden planking today.
Mammal number 6 for the village.

Garden Pheasant

 This fella has been visiting the village gardens in the village most of the winter. #pheasant

Feb 8th

A few Rabbits around today including a pure  black individual that I am determined to get photos of.

New to the bird year list today were a pair of Mallards on the pond and a Grey Wagtail on the brook. (46)

It was warm enough for this Bumble Bee to appear in the garden today. #bufftailedbumblebee
