I’ve decided to keep a few year lists for the village this year. So all birds, mammals, amphibians and butterflies I see within the parish boundary will be recorded on here.

Starting today, Birds … Lapwing, Raven, Carrion Crow, Rook, Jackdaw, Jay, Magpie, Woodpigeon, Stock Dove, Collared Dove, Pheasant, Grey Partridge, Buzzard, Kestrel, Green Woodpecker,Great spotted Woodpecker, Mistle Thrush, Fieldfare, Blackbird, Redwing, Starling, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, House Sparrow, Robin, Dunnock, Yellowhammer, Linnet, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Long tailed Tit (31 species)
Mammals… Rabbit, Chinese Water Deer. (2 species)
